BRIEF ITINERARY

Day 1 - Breakfast at Loung Lone Market  - Take a local fishing boat to secluded beaches
Day 2 - Get to know the villagers from the village nearby - Free afternoon
Day 3 - Take your time before return to Dawei

Extension: Please let us know if you want to stay longer at the bungalows after the tour.

Leave the noise of the city behind you and get to the place where you can relax. We take you to a pristine white sandy beach with nothing around to be disturb from. If you want to meditate or just read a book it is all yours. This is about you to unwind and forget the daily stress in your normal life. In between we have a look at the relax daily life of the villagers. Let the waves take you to sleep.

DAY 1: LOUNG LONE MARKET AND SECLUDED BEACHES (B/L/D)

If you like we can skip the hotel breakfast to get an early start and have a traditional breakfast at the local market (included). On the way we stop every now and then and take a look at the agriculture products being product on the Dawei Peninsula. We will drive pass rice fields and rustic villages until we arrive at a small fishing village called Nyaung Byin. From here we board a boat to discover pristine bays, where hardly any people set food on. We will have lunch in a nearby even smaller fishing village, where curious kids are watching you.

 

We take the boat back to Sar Sar Aw Beach o drive to the along a cliff road with magnificent views over the ocean until we reach the basic bungalows in the afternoon. Now it is time to unwind and relax. Enjoy a sundowner and a delicious seafood dinner.

DAY 2: AROUND DAWEI POINT (B/L/D)

After breakfast we head out to see the rural village life and one of the near by villages. On one hand the local people don't have much, but they seem to be happy with it. On the other hand the would like to take on our life, while we sometimes wish to take on there life. Two of the main products are produced here. Dry fish and fish paste (nga pyi). We get to know the basic how to make fish paste. Most western tongues are not a fan of the smelly stuff, but for local people it is the best.

 

After lunch we continue our trip along the coastal cliff road towards Shin Maw Pagoda. This is one of the the 9 Shin Pagodas, pilgrims pray at all 9 of them to get good luck. The afternoon is all yours.

DAY 3: SAY GOOD BYE RETURN TO DAWEI (B/L/-)

We take it easy in the morning and have a last swim in the cooling ocean, before we start to return to Dawei. On the way we stop at a brick factory and learn who bricks are made (seasonal). Getting closer to the city the toddy palm trees become more and more. Toddy palm juice is used for cooking and making alcohol. We can have a taste of the local brew and explain how it is made. In the afternoon arrive back in Dawei.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

  • The guests should make 50% payment deposit 30 days prior to departure date and should make full payment between 14 days and 30 days prior to
    departure date.

  • The guests are eligible to claim 50% of the refund if they cancel 14 days prior to departure date

  • No refund would be made if they cancel less than 14 days prior to departure date.
